Every time I load up a sports game, there’s one mode I go straight to – Franchise. Doesn’t matter if it’s College Football, Madden, 2K, or MLB The Show -It has always been my favorite game mode and I truly do not think that will change. I do from time-to-time enjoy MyCareer, Road to Glory, Road to The Show, or even Superstar, but man franchise is where my heart is.

Rebuilds have always been my favorite and maybe that is because for most of my life my teams have sucked so I always spent time rebuilding them lol. Rebuilds are my favorite, partly, because you can create your vision and how you truly want it. That is because I always envision what I am trying to do before I start: try to get this star, role player, rookie, etc. and I truly love that the most. Taking a team from the bottom, finding that hidden gem in the draft, making the right trade at the perfect time -it does hit different when your vision does come to life. And yeah, I always start with my favorite team. That loyalty never fades. But after a few seasons, I can’t help but start a new challenge somewhere else, just to see if I can turn another franchise around.

It is always the best when the vision finally pays off and you win that championship, or even when you get that star that you so wanted to get. Everything about the vision coming true, is something that makes it so much fun for me. Sometimes they are quick rebuilds, other times they are long, but either way the success within them, when it clicks? That is what I love, personally. But, sometimes the vision fails and yes it is bothersome but hey at least if they fire us, it’s not our actual jobs. So less stressful, thank god.

Now, besides franchise I do love the other modes like MyCareer, RTG etc. but I always feel like there could be such an improvement on them. (Franchise needs them too don’t worry) My favorite is MyCareer and I do play that one there most but even then I mainly play it by my self and not in park etc. I never really did but I do enjoy it here and there.

This blog is where I’ll talk about all that – the rebuilds, the rosters, the ups and downs of running your own digital dynasty. If you love a good underdog story or just enjoy building something from scratch, you’re in the right place. Oh don’t worry, even when I hop onto MyCareer, RTG, RTS, ETC, that will be talked about too.

Here’s to the long grind, the big trades, and the satisfaction of turning a mess into champions.
