Wow, its finally here…Lace Code. This was something that I have been really wanting to do and decided to take the jump and just do it. I’ve always been someone who pays attention to the shoes somewhere is wearing. Why? just because I love shoes and seeing what people enjoy to wear. I also have been someone who pays attention to the small details too – the slight scuff on a shoe, the sample or beat drop of a song, or even just how an outfit has that ‘it’ factor. I never really planned to start writing about it, but after years of talking sneakers, music, and moments with friends, I realized those conversations said more about who we were than we thought.

Lace Code came from that space – It’s a place for like minded people to come and read about me and what I love but to connect with everyone who comes across. I want to hear your opinions and converse with you all.

I’m Jett. I grew up playing sports and watching them like a lot of kids. I have been in the same boat as many of you when it came to them: letting your sport teams determine your mood for a hours or even days. Ive also been there when its came to shoes or even a vinyl: getting frustrated when you missed out on a pair of grails. Or even being able to get that personal grail in your collection. I want to hear your stories about them, while you are reading mine. The shoes, the sounds, the energy around it all – that’s what’s always pulled me in.

Writing here isn’t about chasing trends. It’s about documenting the things that make me pause – a new drop that brings back an old memory, an album that hits different on a late night drive, or a moment that reminds me why we even care about any of this in the first place.

So, if you’re reading this – welcome. Whether you’re into sneakers, sports, music, or just stories that feel real, I’m glad you’re here. This isn’t a publication. It’s just a corner of the internet where I get to be honest.
