It has been a LONG time since I have gotten a chance to write, but man, are we so back! I have missed this dearly. Life has just kept me busy, but that is not an excuse to stop putting out content. I have some great things planned for this upcoming sports season and just the year in general, and I am so excited to get back to sharing it all with you.

I actually have two vinyls coming in from a band that I truly believe is about to blow up. This is a band I have known about for a while, but you will have to wait until those vinyls come in to find out who they are. I also have some other additions that have been made to the collection that I need to fill you all in on as well.

Man, I have so much coming, and I am so excited to share it with all of you.

A Little Personal Update

On a personal note, four months ago, my fiancée and I welcomed our beautiful baby girl into the world.

It has been the most amazing blessing, but man, has it kept us busy!

Work has also been extremely busy, and between that and becoming a new dad, I have been trying to find the time to sit down and write.

Watching my daughter grow has been incredible. I genuinely could not imagine a better feeling than becoming a father. I am truly blessed to have her, my fiancée, and our entire support system around us.

These past four months have absolutely flown by, but I cannot wait to continue watching her grow, learn, and experience the world.

It has been an amazing four months, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

The Blog Era Isn’t Going Anywhere

Obviously, our Blog Era series is FAR from over, so don’t think that is done.

It will absolutely be coming back.

We still have plenty to talk about, and I have some ideas for where I want to take the series next. That is one of the things I have enjoyed the most about writing this blog, being able to go back and talk about different eras of music, sports, culture, and the things that shaped me growing up.

And we aren’t stopping there.

Gaming Is Back Too

We have gaming content coming, of course.

I have already played some CFB 27 and Madden 27, and I have really enjoyed both games so far. I’ll do a deeper dive into my thoughts on both in another post, but my initial impressions have been really positive.

And with 2K coming out soon, you already know there will be plenty of content coming from that.

I think I already know a couple of directions I want to take with 2K, so stay tuned for that.

And, of course, there is always going to be plenty of music to talk about and more vinyl to collect.

Sports Are About to Take Over

What is coming?

A LOT.

I’m talking about consistency and, hopefully, a ton of great content.

College football, the NFL, and the NBA are all coming back, which means we are about to have plenty to talk about.

And then we get college basketball.

One of my favorite times of the year.

So while we’ve had this little lull in sports, that is about to change very quickly.

Not that there hasn’t been sports for me to watch, though. I’m a baseball fan, after all.

Even though the Mets’ season hasn’t exactly gone the way I hoped, they have been playing much better lately, so hopefully there is something to build on going into next season.

And if they trade Lindor, I will riot.

Just letting you all know that now.

We Are So Back

This post was really just to let you all know that I am still here.

Life got busy. Things changed. I became a dad. Work got hectic.

But the passion for writing and creating content never went away.

I have missed this.

And I am ready to get back to it.

We have college football.

We have the NFL.

We have the NBA.

We have college basketball.

And, of course, we have plenty of random thoughts that will probably somehow turn into blog posts.
